When
Ingo was fifteen he received a set of used black and white darkroom
equipment for Christmas. He was fascinated by the variety of prints
one could create out of the same negative. At that tender young
age he was also an avid rock climber and mineral collector making
his first subjects the natural world around him.
It wasn’t until he began attending University that he focused his lens on the female nude. His fellow students made excellent subjects and since any sort of usable studio space was unavailable at the time, he began shooting outdoors with only available light as method of exposure. To this day this still remains his favorite style of nude photography and he tries to shoot in this vein whenever possible.
