Norbert Fisch was born in 1962 in Bad Nauheim. During schooltime first nude drawings, out of this expierience he discovered the medium photography for his passion. “In my opinion the best in photography is, that in spite of all planning of a shooting it is always exciting until the final picture is finished. So for me the technical premises are not deciding, if a picture ist felicitous, but rather if a viewer looks a little bit longer to the photo, because he wants to give a certain story time developing in his brain.” Barbara Thielen was born in Krefeld in 1967, studied interior design and works as an art director für a great saleshouse. Her pictures reflect her love to nature and humans. Playfull elements are always part of her photographs and build often a strong contrast on the strong women, who she pictures with preference. 2004 Thielen and Fisch met in Berlin, since this time they are artistic and private connectet. Working in a studio doesn’t give them full satisfaction, again and again they arrange their pictures on settings, which have been seeked specially for one take with a certain model. Working on location gives them the possibility to complement to one another instead of copying each other. “As our pictures are often arranged primal on the set it is astonishing, which different outputs we have from one shooting.” At
the moment they work on their first book and an exhibition, which
shoul document their common and also different views. |
