Duclerck free erotic photography magazine: article on Filip Naudts

Filip Naudts wanted to give form to his feminine side by projecting it on his models (all female). You can see the raw emotions in every photograph of this fascinating project. In order to make Auromatic a complete and overwhelming project, Filip Naudts decided to make a slow-motion movie as well. The movie titled 'E-motion' takes about four hours long and shows us a young girl sitting in front of the camera. The only movements are those which concern emotional self-examination and/or subtle heart-searching.
A nice detail about Auromatic was that half of the models are famous Belgium media figures. Due to this fact the project got tons of media attention in Belgium.
Filip Naudts came to the idea of using so many public female figures from the time on he was contacted by Bea van der Maat for shooting her new cd-cover. Bea van der Maat is a famous singer in Belgium and so the idea grew of inviting more public female figures in front of his camera.
A prove that the whole project was so much more than just a parade of beautiful and famous Belgium figures is that Auromatic got international acclaim. The project got a compelling review in an important Czech photo magazine. The publication convinced the National Technical Museum to exhibit his new series. In 2000 the entire 'Auromatic' project resulted in the development and publication of Filip Naudts' first photo book 'Auromatic'. The exhibition itself was continuously on the road for five years.
