Loebel started photography at the age of 17. His photographical main
focus is portrait, nude and erotic.
Dispite the fact that Lutz Loebel has his photographs published in
books, has more experience than most erotic photographers and owns
his own studie, he isn't a proffesional. Why? Because he doesn't want
to be. On his website he states that:
"I do not want to lose my spontaneity, as this is very important
for me to keep fun in my photographs. Without this fun, I believe
the quality of my pictures will decrease."
Now lets
talk about his work!
Partial nudes, full nudes, accessories, no accessories, colour,
black&white, men and women, Lutz Loebel seems to do it all.
Yet he has a very recognizable style. The photographs are mostly
taken with a neutral background, he works with a lot of shadow and
play with light. His photographs seem to have a certain 'quite'
style, that makes you think and look beyond the nude and into the
form & expression of the model in the photograph.
