erotic photography magazine: article on Francis Keating, Part2

My most recent exhibition “Tides” explored the symbiotic
relationship that exists between water and the human body. Water
is the most important substance on earth and essential for our
existence. Water not only affects our physical well-being but
also our moods, that can rise and fall as the ocean’s
tides ebb and flow. Water is life, and life like the tide is
eternally swirling, changing, and moving. In this exhibition
“Tides” I’ve tried to convey a myriad of emotions,
from solitude and desolation to tranquility and freedom. These
moods are mutually shared by this life giving liquid and the
human body that can’t survive without it. Heavenly Bodies
I’m presently working on my next exhibition which will
show a series of multiple exposed images of the female form
overlapped by heavenly clouds. The sensuous and subtle curves
of the female body seem to perfectly match the soft voluptuous
shapes of the clouds. Motivations When photographing nudes it’s
never really in my mind to create an erotic image , this usually
occurs incidentally; I’m primarily concerned with creating
images which are alluring and unusual to my eye. I prefer to
photograph a woman’s body in a natural environment as
nature provides an array of landscapes that can mimic the curves
of the female form, whilst at other times provide a stark contrast
in shape and texture to her feminine lines. Find out more about
